Description

This course considers the technical and commercial influences on field development planning within the global oil and gas industry. It considers the need to understand field development choice, resource size, facility appropriateness and cost. Additionally, the course focuses on what is needed to steer a project through the final investment decision, including financial value, accounting for risks and uncertainty, along with, energy transition and the potential for carbon sequestration. The course is orientated to developing the multi-discipline skills required for field development planning.

COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS: MS Office, Excel
Participants are welcome to bring their own laptops to class.
