Description
In this course, participants learn the foundations of critical thinking. The whole course is built around eight strategies for critical thinking:
1. Challenge all assumptions
2. Suspending judgment
3. Revising conclusions based on new evidence
4. Emphasizing date over beliefs
5. The never-ending testing ideas
6. The perspective that mistakes are data
7. The earnest consideration of possibilities and ideas without (always) accepting them
8. Looking for what others have missed
For each strategy a distinct set of tools will be introduced and practised.

- Choose the right techniques to recognize assumptions and draw conclusions
- Reflecting on your own thinking practices
- Listening to the arguments of others without prejudging these arguments in advance
