HOT Microfluidics GmbH (fluidXlab) is a leading provider of laboratory services and turnkey microfluidic solutions for fluid testing and the investigation of flow through porous media. While developed for the upstream oil and gas industry, our innovations, technologies, and solutions are scalable, expandable, and portable across other subsurface energy systems such as the underground storage of hydrogen and carbon dioxide, important elements in a carbon emission-free energy economy.

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, and well-organised personality on a full-time basis to strengthen our multidisciplinary team in our office at the Energy Campus in Goslar.

  • You have a university degree with a focus on natural sciences or engineering?
  • You have experience in the development and construction of laboratory devices and systems?
  • You are familiar working with common CAD systems?
  • You have a service-oriented attitude and entrepreneurial spirit?

Your responsibilities

  • Product and systems development using CAD software
  • Prototyping and construction of fluidic test stands
  • Generation of technical drawings, bill of materials, and R&I flow diagrams
  • Technical documentation and certification management

Your profile

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Process Technology, Equipment Manufacturing or comparable
  • Experienced in the development and design of complex devices with broad sense of understanding in mechanics, mechatronics and sensor technology
  • Well familiar with a standard CAD software (e.g. SOLIDWORKS, PTC Creo, etc.)
  • Creative, self-confident and detail-oriented team player with a methodical and structured way of working
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Work permit
