    Description

    This course covers the principles of Process Risk Management, risk reduction through instrumented protections and passive protections, functional safety lifecycle including SIL assessment, verification & validation, selection of devices for instrumented protection, failure data sources and responsibilities of an operating company under IEC61511 to ensure compliance. In addition the course will cover specific responsibilities of engineering, operation and maintenance personnel.

    Course Structure: 8 modules of 2 hours each, delivered over 4 days
    Each day will consist of 2 modules of 2 hours
