Stuck Pipe Prevention & Fishing for Rig Workover (Well Services) (DRI53)

    Description

    This course will expose participants to terminology, concepts, processes, and equipment used for stuck pipe prevention and fishing operations. Participants will be able to identify and understand the causes of Stuck Pipe, Freeing Stuck Pipe, Mechanical Sticking, Pack-offs, Differential Sticking, ECD Management, Hole Cleaning and the Best practices - connections, tripping & back-reaming. Participants will also get to know all the fishing tools available on the market for different fishing operations, and make calculations on when to stop a fishing operation based on economics. The course will also address the risk management related to fishing operations and provide practical exercises.
